徐汇艺术馆

徐汇艺术馆是上海市徐汇区一所举办美术展览、开展学术研究、典藏艺术精品、普及审美教育的公益性文化机构。艺术馆建于1932年, 前身为 “鸿英图书馆”,2005年12月17日正式对外开放。

徐汇艺术馆的建筑主体是一座三层砖混结构的花园洋房,红砖砌筑的展厅拱门,原汁原味的木质楼梯,尽显雅致格调,与高品味的艺术 展览相得益彰,是淮海路上一处难得的精致优雅艺术殿堂。徐汇艺术馆的展厅有600平米,分上下两层,另有陈列室,多媒体视听区, 艺术沙龙角,服务台等功能区,完备的展览设施为艺术家和观众提供全面优质的服务。作为一所在上海乃至全国有着一定影响力的专业 美术展馆,徐汇艺术馆素以高品质的美术展览活跃于上海美术界,自开馆以来,吸引了来自欧洲、美洲、亚非拉以及国内大批艺术名家 前来参展。目前,艺术馆已经收藏了大量当代艺术名家的精品力作,为开展相关的学术研究提供了良好条件。徐汇艺术馆高雅的美术展 览、丰富的学术交流和美术教育普及活动获得了广泛的社会认可和好评,曾被中国文化报誉为“区级美术馆发展的典型标本”。

Xuhui Art Museum

The Xuhui Art Museum is a nonprofit cultural institution in Xuhui District, Shanghai, holding art exhibitions, conducting academic researches, collecting artistic classics and popularizing aesthetic education. The art museum’s predecessor “Hongying Library” was built in 1932. It was listed as a protected district-level historical and cultural site, and officially opened to the public on December 17, 2005.

The main building of the Xuhui Art Museum is a three-story Western-style building with a brick-concrete structure and a garden. The arched door of the exhibition hall built of red bricks and the staircase made of raw wood fully reflect its elegant style and complement art exhibitions with good taste. It is a rare exquisite and elegant art palace beside Huaihai Road.

The Xuhui Art Museum's 600-square-meter two-story exhibition hall has separate functional areas including a showroom, a multimedia audio-visual area, an art salon and a service desk. Its complete exhibition facilities provide all-round quality services for artists and visitors. As a specialized art museum having certain influence in Shanghai and even China , it has attracted a lot of famous artists from Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, Latin America and China mainland to participate in exhibitions since its opening. At present, the art museum houses a lot of famous modern artists' classics and masterpieces and provides good conditions for carrying out relevant academic researches. The Xuhui Art Museum's elegant art exhibitions, diverse academic exchanges and activities for popularizing art education are extensively recognized and praised in the society.
